A série CEI County Pairings põe condados irlandeses à conversa com países europeus. O programa reúne escritores em quatro encontros, cada um com a sua geografia e os seus pontos de vista.

As conversas serão moderadas por Vitor Vicente, escritor português, autor de livros de viagem e fundador da Ring of Culture, há uma década instalado na Ilha Esmeralda.

As Ring of Culture marks its first anniversary, we’re ready to take on the challenge. We’re starting with Europe, its writers, and a literary and cultural heritage that needs no introduction, though it deserves plenty.
We have good stories to tell. And some good conversations to get started.
The CEI County Pairings series brings Irish counties into conversation with European countries. The programme brings writers together for four encounters, each with its own geography, references and points of view.

At each event, an Irish writer — or someone who has made Ireland their home — meets a guest author from another European country. The conversations will be moderated by Vitor Vicente, Portuguese writer, travel writer and founder of Ring of Culture, who has called the Emerald Isle home for a decade.
Four encounters, eight writers, and a good reason to talk about literature without getting stuck between the covers.
